    Trump escaped an assassination attempt on July 13th at Butler, Pennsylvania.  On July 13th, 2024 at around 6:11 pm Eastern, 8 rounds of bullets were fired from a rifle by a man on a rooftop, targeting Donald Trump, while he was addressing a rally at Butler, Pennsylvania. The very first shot was able to hurt the President as it hit his right ear and passed by. Trump felt a whizzing sound, realized that something was horribly wrong, and immediately knelt down under the podium of the stage. His entire security staff then came to his rescue and shielded him from further gunshots. Out of the 7 other gunshots that came along, 1 of them hit a man called Corey Comperatore, who died instantly there. Two more hit two other people in the crowd over there, injuring them both. However, they have survived.
