(14) Latest Trend Analysis - Whom are the Americans choosing?

As I write this, as of August 20th, 2024, the polls are showing Kamala Harris is in the lead. She is leading Trump by a thin margin of 1 to 2 points in most of the polls. This is of course because of "the honeymoon period", she is having with the voters of America. She is a new candidate compared to Trump, people are fascinated about her (especially the Democrats) and are looking upon her as a good alternative to Trump. When asked "Why should Kamala Harris be elected as President?" their answer, most of the time begins with "Because she is "not Trump"!! She is a completely different person from Trump." This means most of the Dems just either hate Trump or severely hate him! There is absolutely very little chance for any of the Democratic party supporters to vote for Trump this time. Their dislike for him is intense. I pondered over a few reasons as to why they dislike/ hate Trump. Here are they:

His arrogant style: They don't like him because he behaves as if "he knows everything and he can do everything. There is nothing that can escape from him. He can control everything, can defeat anybody, anytime, anywhere!" This type of over-confidence pisses them off. They feel he is not practical and hence he is dumb too apart from being impolite and rough. 

He is selfish and non-inclusive too. Firstly, he doesn't talk to a person once his selfish ends have been met, with that person. He completely overlooks that guy afterwards. 

The non-inclusive approach is hurting Trump:

Secondly, he has a fixed pre-decided set/list of the type of people in his mind, to whom is going to cater. He listens to them and is good to only them. He doesn't listen to and is not good to those who are outside that list, even if that person is indeed a very good one. His list of "good people" includes - (1) all who talk good about him (2) mostly whites (3) mostly American or of American origin. If you happen to be on this list, Trump considers you as good and will be good to you, most of the time. But God forbid, if you are not on this list, he will put you into the "not good people" category!! He will get biased about your personality, your thoughts, and actions - even before meeting you or knowing more about you, and start treating you in a bad manner, regardless of how you treat him!! For example, take Muslims. Are all Muslims terrorists? NO WAY. In fact, Most of them are NOT. Quite a few of them are actually very good! They pray to God, never commit sinful actions, and try to be supportive and helpful towards all living beings. But in the eyes of Trump, even these very good people, are NOT GOOD. Why? Because they are "Muslims". Just being a person from a religion that he doesn't like, makes a Muslim, a bad person for him!!! He avoids coming into any kind of contact with them unless it's not too necessary. This is why he is spoken about as being "racist". Those who are Muslims feel Trump's demeanor in public, is an exact definition of "racism". After all what kind of behavior is that, which cancels out almost 25% of the world's population? Even if you talk of America's demographics, roughly 9 to 10% of Americans are Muslims. They know very well that Trump is completely canceling them out from all good things. So obviously they will never vote for him. Secondly, quite a few amongst the African American black population too is of the opinion that Donald Trump doesn't like them. Say 65% of them feel this way. With 2/3rds of the blacks going against him, it makes up 8% of Americans. Add to that figure, all the Muslims living in the United States, which is another 5% (of all Americans). Add to that some part of the Hispanic population and the Asian population too (that includes mostly those with Chinese origins), as Trump never talks in a specific positive manner about the above two groups, any time. That figure is roughly 12%. So what do we get? We get a figure of around 25% of present-day Americans, who deny voting for Trump, right at the outset! This means, with a quarter of the population against him totally, he has to carve out a majority, which means 50+ percent of the total votes from the 75% of the American population! That also means that out of 3, at least 2 people of that 75% group must vote for him, if he has to become the President!! Isn't it a tough task? Yes, it is. This might be the main reason why he lost the Presidential Election of 2020 to Joe Biden. 

He has to change this approach of being "non-inclusive" as soon as possible. Because as illustrated in the above paragraph, Kamala has a chance to get voted from amongst all, that is 100% Americans, whereas Trump has, by his own actions, canceled 25% of them, by default. So he will have to struggle much more than Kamala has to. 

How can he be more inclusive? Let's see: Donald Trump loves America, maybe more than Kamala Harris or any other Democrat does. But he is not calculative. It's rather shocking that he doesn't calculate the math. As said above, he is already in a rather shrunk position as compared to Harris, right from the word go. This is because of his own fault. He has almost closed the doors of entering and coming close to him, for all those in the 25% category listed above, since 2015. Now he has to open those closed doors. Because if he does not, he may not get elected, even though most patriots, most who love America, are supporting him! Isn't it ironic that a person supported by most patriots of the country, is supposed to struggle out, to do something possibly good for the country (by becoming President)?? Thus, he has to change his approach anyhow now. Let's see how: He never talks as specifically about the minorities - the Blacks, the Hispanics, the Asians, the Muslims - in his speech as he talks about the Whites from the Christian community, the Catholics, those who have lived inside the US for tens of decades. So he needs to start that. This will make them feel "getting included" in Trump's list of good people. That can lead to the point where some of them, if not all, may start thinking about voting for him rather than Harris, based on his good things, like -- his performance as President, compared to Joe Biden, no wars on the planet during his time, etc. Even if somebody part of that 25%, which he himself has canceled out, comes back to him, that will further improve his chances considerably. This he has to switch from being "non-inclusive" to being "inclusive". This will also remove the label of being "a racist" from him automatically. 

Some voters, when asked why they are not voting for Trump, directly point out his indecent public behavior, as in calling names of so many people around him. He calls Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden as "Crooked Hillary" and "Crooked Joe" respectively. He calls so many people with the adjective "stupid" or "idiot"!! He calls Kamala Harris as "Crazy Kamala"!! He calls Kim Jong Un, the dictator of North Korea "the mad dictator". This list goes on and on. Does it look decent? No way. Anyone in public life, should not use such a vocabulary, especially if he is the head of state like Trump used to be between 2017 and 2021. I wonder what makes him speak in such a disgusting manner in public. Is there nobody within the Republican party, who can ask him not to use such a language? No senior retired leader too? A person of the cadre as high as a former President, if he speaks in this manner, not only ruins the reputation of himself but also that of his political party as well as his country. Doesn't he know that? 

Therefore as explained above, the Americans are quoting 2 main reasons as to why they are not going to vote for Donald J Trump: his non-inclusive agenda and his indecent manner of talking in public life. Now let's look at the reasons why people are denying to vote for Kamala Harris:

A young black African American girl, 22, so clearly says, "I am not voting for Kamala. She was so very unpopular as the Vice President just until about a month ago. But as soon as she got the nomination as the presumed candidate of the Democratic party to run for Presidency, the Main Stream Media (MSM) started portraying her as some new Savior of the United States!! All of a sudden she is our only "hope" against the dark personality of Donald Trump!! How come? What has she done for America in the last 4 years as President? She has failed as a Border Czar. The Biden-Harris administration failed to check the rising inflation, the cost of living has gone up substantially. Nothing is going right for us. And you know what, until recently she introduced herself as a half-black African, half-Indian woman. But all of a sudden now she is a (full) black African American woman! She has canceled those words that say "half-Indian", describing her, everywhere. Why? Because she wants our votes - yes, the votes of the black people of America, those with African origin. She thinks she can fool us like that. No way. Trump is far better than her."

I agree with almost everything this black African girl has said. Until recently, she was indeed one of the most unpopular Vice Presidents in the history of independent America. People were mocking her speeches and describing her as one of the worst speakers ever. But as soon as Biden nominated her as the presumed nominee for the Democratic party candidate to run for the presidency, the mainstream media (mainly TV news channels like CNN, MSNBC, NBC, etc.) artificially lifted her popularity, transforming her into some kinda icon, some messiah, who is the only hope for the people of this country against a monstrous would-be dictator called Donald Trump!! How awful! They suddenly worsened the public image of Trump and enhanced massively, the public image of Harris - both in a very artificial manner. "Too bad," I should say. Is Trump really some monster who wants to become the omnipotent, all-powerful dictator of America? NO. Is it prudent to transform Kamala Harris from an unpopular Vice President suddenly to the status of "the next Savior" of America? Again, NO. These channels of misinformation and disinformation are doing a very ugly job in fact, by misdirecting the people of the US. They are mind-washing their viewers, telling them lies, created from their false propaganda. Why? Just in order to get millions of dollars from the likes of George Soros, the now infamous billionaire. 

The worst point that has the potential to spoil the chances of Harris in a humungous manner is her horrible performance as "Border Czar". In June 2021, President Biden, appointed her as the Border Czar, giving her the task of looking after the massive problem of illegal immigration into the country from its southern border, adjoining the states of Arizona, Texas, and New Mexico with the neighboring country of Mexico. She was supposed to stop the flow of illegal immigrants. But instead, that flow increased drastically. It was as if she opened up the borders for anyone to enter!! In the last 3 and a half years, more than 16 million illegals have entered our country through this border! It contains all sorts of bad people -- ranging from pocket-thieves, outlaws, and street-fighter to murderers, rapists, drug mafia and even terrorists!! This all has happened only because of the inaction of Biden as well as Harris. God forbid, if an attack of the intensity of 9/11 gets carried out on American soil once again, it would be from the terrorists that have recently entered through the border, without getting vetted, and without thorough examination. If such a thing occurs, it will be because of Biden and Harris. They should be held responsible for all the mess. 

Kamala, the Chameleon:

A chameleon is a living being, of the size of a wall lizard, which even looks like it. Its specialty is that it can change colors according to the situation created, almost in no time at all, to protect itself from its predators as well as to prey upon the insects, etc. which are its food. It can turn yellowish brown on a piece of wood while turning green while on grass. It can turn red on reddish clay. The critics of Kamala Harris claim that she is like a chameleon. Her speech content keeps on varying from one speech to another, as per the audience present in front of her!! For example, when speaking about immigrants once she said, "America is a land of opportunities and everyone should be welcomed here" in front of a group of Chinese students. But within a few days her tone changed when talking about illegals entering from Mexico, "I would say to them - Don't Come. Just DO NOT COME" while speaking to a group of white people in Texas state, which included mostly security personnel including policemen!! Bravo, Kamala! What a change in stance in just a few days!!!

In short, it's clear that Trump is a favorite for white men, preferably well-built, and young. He is also a favorite among businessmen - often rich and well-established as well as members of the US forces that include the US Army, US Airforce as well as US Navy. He strikes a chord with the armed forces. Some black African American men, too favor him. Since many Indian-origin people are rich, they favor him but since most of the Hispanics are doing jobs, they favor Kamala. The Chinese as well as the Muslim citizens of the United States just don't like this man at all. 

On the contrary, Harris is a favorite among women - mostly middle-class, doing a job somewhere. Most of the black women like her a lot, barring a few exceptions, here and there. The affluent business class people don't like her policies and hence her, whereas the middle class as well as the struggling poor and unemployed people of America, like her much more than Trump. She is less popular amongst the Indian community though being a half-indian herself, because of reasons cited in the previous paragraph. But she is very popular amongst the Muslims, that have arrived from Southeast Asian countries like India, Pakistan, etc. Even the Chinese citizens of the US, love her a lot. The main reason why the Muslims and the Chinese would vote for Harris is that "She is Not Trump." 

Geographically speaking, the battleground states like Pennsylvania, Michigan, North Carolina, Georgia, and to some extent, Arizona will play a major role in deciding the future of the candidate. As I write this Trump is leading in Pennsylvania and Michigan whereas Harris has a slender lead in Georgia and North Carolina. These states - California, NewYork, NewJersey, Delaware, Maine - which are traditionally blue will of course go to Harris, it seems. Border states like Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico - which are in fact fed up by the failed border policy of the Biden-Harris administration, will definitely vote for Trump this time, it seems. Florida will vote for Trump because its Governor Ron DeSantis is doing a very good job over there. The states like Illinois, and Minnesota, are traditionally blue so they will go for Harris. Trump and Harris are mostly focused on battleground states described above because history says "Whoever wins these states, become the President!" They are doing rallies mostly in these states. 

Talking about rallies, Trump's rallies have a huge number of crowds, in most cases, whose strength varies from 15,000 to 50,000. Despite the assassination attempt on his life, he is on a rampage right now, doing rallies and giving interviews one by one. His recent interview on social media platform X, given to the owner of X, Mr. Elon Musk, became very famous and went viral on social media, which means millions of potential American voters watched it. 

Talking about the rallies of Harris, she jump-started her campaign when she attended her rally at Pennsylvania, on August 9th, immediately after appointing Tim Walz, as her running mate on August 7th. In his very first rally as a presumed Vice Presidential nominee of the Democratic party, Tim Walz was effective in his speech. He thanked Harris for choosing him and applauded the audience present there. Then he lambasted Trump in the severest possible manner. It looks like Kamala Harris has chosen the right candidate as her Deputy (whilst Trump has faltered in choosing JD Vance as his Deputy). In that Harris rally a huge crowd presence was witnessed. But after that rally, the crowd presence has now decreased considerably in Harris rallies. According to a political expert on a certain YouTube channel, the number of people present at any Trump rally on average, is equal to at least 10 times the number of people present at a Harris rally on average!! There Trump is leading in such a manner that a Landslide victory looks to be On The Cards for him!! 

According to Republican party supporters, "This can happen only if the Trump campaign looks into the fact that the rotten deep administrative state doesn't collude with the Harris campaign and manipulate the results of this election once again, just as what they did during the previous presidential election. God forbid if that happens all the support that is seen to be given wholeheartedly to Donald Trump, will go in vain." These constant complaints from the Republican party supporters about the rigging of the 2020 Presidential elections have been a widely discussed topic in the media in the last 1 year or so. They complain that Biden had colluded with the deep administrative state and manipulated the results in several states including Georgia. Whereas the Biden campaign and his supporting Democrats just deny these allegations completely. According to them, there have been no reports at all about any kind of rigging or voter fraud, and the election of Joe Biden as President of the United States in 2020 was completely legal and authorized. My opinion is that after looking at various investigations that went very deep to know the facts as to what happened actually, the resultant conclusion is that nothing wrong ever happened in 2020, as alleged by Donald Trump and the election of Biden was totally legal. Your opinions may differ, however, in this matter. 

The Trump campaign has invited the Harris campaign for a one-on-one debate on September 4th, 10th and 25th. Among these, Harris has refused to debate with Trump on Fox News for obvious reasons! She may be fearing that Fox News anchors will show a bias towards Trump that will go against her! Look at these Democrats. Should I say, "How careful they are?" or "How fearful they are?" Perhaps they are both - careful and fearful as well. Right now Harris is fearful that Fox News anchors will ask tough questions deliberately which she may not be able to answer properly and hence she is avoiding a debate with Trump on that channel. On the other hand, by the invitation of the Dems, Trump went to a CNN Debate with Joe Biden on the 27th of June, this year. The Dems thought that CNN was like a home ground for the Democratic party and so they were expecting Trump to get choked and frustrated during the debate. But instead, it was Biden, their own candidate who got choked and heavily frustrated in the middle of the debate!! Trump won that debate with complete authority and in an undisputed manner!! Despite the sportsman spirit shown by Trump to go to a debate at his hostile place called CNN, the Democratic candidate is not showing any such sportsman spirit at all by refusing to go to a debate at her hostile place, Fox News. This clearly shows that Trump and his party are thinking with their heart, whereas Harris and her party are thinking with their mind. So if most Americans will vote, while thinking with their hearts, Trump will win. But if most Americans will vote, while thinking with their mind, then Harris will win. 

Early voting starts on September 6th. Let's see for whom Americans will vote for.

As I write this on September 1, Kamala Harris has refused to appear for a debate with Trump on September 4th. That means now there is a chance for just 2 debates of Trump versus Harris. The first one will be on September 10th and the second one will be on September 25th.
